All governors are expected to receive these letters.
The Associated Press reports that the FBI has issued an intelligence note warning police that an anti-government group’s call to remove dozens of sitting governors may encourage others to act out violently. The group, “Guardians of the Free Republics,” wants to “restore America” by dismantling parts of the government, according to its web site. Governors receiving the threat include Bobby Jindal (R-LA), Jim Doyle (D-WI), Chet Culver (D-IA), Jim Gibbons (R-NV), among others.
Guardians of the Free Republics’ call to dismantle the government has gained traction on right-wing tea party websites. The groups’ proclamation is posted on ResistNet, the popular tea party forum, as well as Tree of Liberty, a tea part forum known to have been frequented by users which supported Hutaree, the Christian militia recently arrested in Michigan.
Think Progress is all over this story. Continue reading this article here, including video of one of these moonbats showing off his penis extender gun.
Remember the teabagger who was throwing dollar bills at the man, Dr. Bob Letcher, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease at the health care reform rally in Ohio last week? Well supposedly he’s apologized for his actions. How did he excuse his behavior? He claims he didn’t see Dr. Letcher’s sign. No, really, he said that.
The teabagger’s name is Chris Reichert. Here’s a screen shot from the video. Do YOU think he didn’t see the sign?
For anyone who missed the video, or to refresh your memory, here is the video in full:

So, what do you think? Is the apology sincere, or some serious BS?

The man holds a doctorate, but the idiotic teabaggers think they’ve got everything all figured out. DUH!!
McClatchy first published this article in September of 2009. Given the full-on racial slurs by the teabaggers today, on the eve of the health care vote tomorrow, it’s appropriate to run it again here.
In the pre-dawn hours of last Nov. 5, while much of the nation celebrated Barack Obama’s election as the nation’s first black president, three white men in Springfield, Mass., doused the partially completed Macedonia Church of God in Christ with gasoline and burned it to the ground.
After their arrest, the men told police they’d torched the black church because they were angry about Obama’s election and feared minorities would be given more rights.
At about the same time, newspaper Web sites were filled with millions of hateful messages about Obama, and the computer servers of two large white supremacist groups, the Council of Conservative Citizens and Stormfront.org, crashed because they got so much traffic.
“You immediately got the sense that something significant was happening,” said Mark Potok, who investigates hate groups as the director of the Intelligence Project of the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala.
Potok’s instincts were correct. Obama’s victory had stirred immediate racial anger among a small portion of Americans.
That visceral backlash quickly subsided, but as the grip of the worst recession since the 1930s began to tighten, a different type of anger began to surface. Only this time, the hostility wasn’t limited to society’s fringe elements. It was everywhere.

Demonstrators outside the U.S. Capitol , angry over the proposed health care bill, shouted “nigger” Saturday at U.S. Rep. John Lewis , a Georgia congressman and civil rights icon who was nearly beaten to death during an Alabama march in the 1960s.
Lewis said he was leaving the Cannon office building across from the Capitol when protesters shouted “Kill the bill, kill the bill,” Lewis said.
“I said ‘I’m for the bill, I support the bill, I’m voting for the bill’,” Lewis said.
A colleague who was accompanying Lewis said people in the crowd responded by saying “Kill the bill, then the n-word.”
“It surprised me that people are so mean and we can’t engage in a civil dialogue and debate,” Lewis said.
Rep. Emanuel Cleaver , D- Mo. , said he was a few yards behind Lewis and distinctly heard “nigger.”
“It was a chorus,” Cleaver said. “In a way, I feel sorry for those people who are doing this nasty stuff – they’re being whipped up. I decided I wouldn’t be angry with any of them.”
Protestors also used a slur as they confronted Rep. Barney Frank , D- Mass. , an openly gay member of Congress . A writer for Huffington Post said the crowd called Frank a “faggot.”
You can read the rest of this disgusting behavior here, and kudos to McClatchy News Service for having the fortitude to report what the rest of the media ignores, for fear of offending the bigoted teabaggers.
