The world is about expectations. Your expectations, the general population, which according to” the USCB estimates that the world population exceeded 7 billion on March 12, 2012.”per Wikipedia . That’s a very large number of people to make happy!
However, Human Rights are a kind of universal agreement that because you ARE here, you are at least able to live rather than exist in a very harsh environment. Health, hunger, housing and education are the building blocks of a growing civilization’s DNA. If you believe the fundamental base line of any government is to serve it’s people and their best interests, then you have faith that they’re going to ensure that protocol be carried out in decision making to that end.
I think we might apply the theory of the Pygmalion Effect to our governing bodies and see if the experiment could be successful the second time around on a grander scale. Just think, all factions of governments would be able to come to agreement on the issues that affected their represented districts without bias of personal gain. Interesting theory but I don’t think we’ve evolved enough to reach that Utopian goal.
All I can say about this “My Fair Lady” is, “Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner”!
