Welcome to another conversation on why change must take place! History seems to repeat itself no matter how hard people try to improve the lives and living conditions of their communities. There will always be those who use the souls of the less fortunate in order to make personal gain. We’ll take a look at the same practices that began in WV by remembering the hardships and bloody history of Matewan, where a person can follow the trail of injustices to present day and wonder why some of the oldest and most diverse areas in the world would allow itself to be decimated by outside corporate entities with no interest in the future of Appalachia.
