I attended a pro-Iranian-Democracy rally this afternoon in Austin, TX. Very peaceful rally. 100 degree heat, or even hotter. Hundreds of people singing, marching, chanting, listening to speakers, and bowing their heads for a minute of silence for those who were slain in Tehran. I’d guess that at least 80% of those in attendance were Iranian, and all were speaking out for peace and democracy. Most of the organizer were graduate students from the University of Texas, including one who was interviewed on Bob’s show this evening.
